14 Jan Two delicious Dutch wines!

We have the privilege of presenting you two delicious Dutch wines. Both from THORN in Central Limburg.

The first wine is the Auxerrois. As the most widely planted white grape variety in Limburg, this wine enjoys a solid reputation as an accompaniment to asparagus dishes.

The Auxerrois has a clear, light yellow colour and a hint of carbon dioxide. The soft aroma mainly reveals white fruit such as apple and pear. The attack is fresh, beautifully juicy and dry with a full aftertaste.

The other wine is the Dornfelder. This is a dark red, smooth, elegant wine. Full flavour with lots of red and black fruit, including raspberry. Matured in old French oak barriques. Small touch of caramel and vanilla. Velvety aftertaste with mild, ripe tannins. Available per bottle. Come and taste it!
