The picturesque hotel has 23 rooms, which are housed in 5 characteristic North Holland town houses with a beautiful, well-kept garden on the water.

All rooms are equipped as standard with a private toilet, bath and / or shower, but also with TVs with many channels, a direct-dial telephone, a mini fridge, a safe and a hairdryer.

The rooms are furnished with rustic pine furniture and equipped with comfortable box-spring bedsteads with very high quality mattresses. Beautiful handmade bedspreads lie over the beds.

Moreover, each room offers the opportunity to prepare a nice cup of tea or coffee for yourself. There is also a folder available for inspection with all sorts of information.

Most rooms overlook the tastefully decorated garden or the water of "'t Boerenverdriet". In the summer you can sit in the garden and enjoy the flowers, the singing birds or the pleasure boats that float by. You can also just stroll through the peaceful town of Edam or do some shopping in the nearby center of the town. And if you would like to explore the area a little further, you can also rent a bicycle.

Breakfast

The buffet breakfast is served every morning from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the restaurant's hall. On request you can also have breakfast earlier or later. For a small fee we also serve breakfast in your room.

The breakfast includes hot, crispy sandwiches, various meats, cheese, cornflakes, various types of yogurt, a boiled egg, various jams, honey, sprinkles, hazelnut spread and fresh fruit. You can also choose from a variety of fruit juices, freshly brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Sights

Even if you stay at the hotel for several days, you will not be bored. Many famous sights are a stone's throw from Edam, for example: Amsterdam, the Zaanse Schans, the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen, the Keukenhof, Volendam, Monnickendam and Marken. And not to forget: every Wednesday in July and August the traditional cheese markets are held in Edam.

Moreover, every 15 minutes a bus goes to the center of Amsterdam, so that you can leave your car safely in Edam.
