All dishes are prepared in the traditional manner using the best ingredients the different seasons have to offer. We specialize in regional products and, where possible, organic.

Our terrace
Restaurant ‘De Fortuna’ has a beautiful, flowery terrace garden. On nice days, 80 to 100 guests can be seated here. Our terrace is located directly on the water of the beautiful ‘Boerenverdriet’. While you are sitting on the terrace, you can watch the pleasure boats sail by and wave to the passengers if necessary.
We offer a wide range of delicious, refreshing summer drinks, such as fruit juices, wines and beers and possibly something stronger. We also have a wide range of snacks.
Of course, depending on the weather conditions, you can have lunch outside. We wish you a pleasant stay at the most beautiful spot in Edam!
