Route

From Amsterdam

From Amsterdam you take the N-247 (from the Ringweg A-10, exit Volendam). After approximately 18 kilometers you will pass Edam. Take the first exit on the right into Edam and just keep following the signs to the center. Arriving in the old part you will pass an old steel bridge. Immediately after this bridge you will see ‘De Fortuna’ on the left. Just before this bridge, on the right hand side, you will find a parking lot (Baanstraat) that almost always has space.

From Hoorn

If you’re coming from the direction of the Afsluitdijk or Hoorn via the A-7, then take the Volendam exit after passing Hoorn. Follow the Volendam signs until you’re on the N-247. After approximately 15 kilometers you will pass Edam. Take the second exit on the left into Edam and continue your way towards the center as described above.

From Zaandam and Purmerend

From Zaandam and Purmerend follow the A-7 in the direction of Hoorn and Leeuwarden. At the Purmerend-Noord exit, turn right onto the N-244. Follow the N-244 until the junction with the N-247. Here you turn left towards Edam. After following the N-247 for about 500 meters, take the first exit for Edam and follow the signs to the center as described above.
